I am presenting this article on the topic of Twelfth Night the play of Shakespear. This article elucidates
\nShakespeare\u2019s concepts hidden or revealed of beauty, nobility, sincerity, loyalty challenging, interesting, melodrama, turbulence, apocalypses and loyality. The critical thinker reveals that every body have their own strategies and interesting.<\/p>\n
Introduction<\/p>\n
William Shakespeare, who is known as greate for all ages, has changed the nature of drama
\nin English world. Shakespeare\u2019s genius operates a very wide and unfettered range of human
\nlife and character in all its complexity and variety. \u201cShakespeare is the second most quoted
\nwriter in the English language-after the various writers of the Bible Shakespeare has
\nenfolded all elements of human experience and segments of human sensibility. It is his
\naffluent and matchless literature that has made him reach to the crest of popularity and he has
\nmade a permanent and paramount place in the heart of his readers throughout the world.
\nWilliam Shakespeare is truly known as synonymous with genuis for a numerous reasons.
\nThus Shakespeare has a special ability to take ordinary situations and make them intensely
\ncomical and interesting. He does it in such a way that relies almost completely on well-
\narranged dialogue to do so.
\nShakespeare has become the cornerstone of classical education in English literature without
\nachieving a university degree. His genius was not educated in school but natural, and yet his
\nunderstanding and depiction of the complexity of human nature is a model of perfection. If
\nspeech is considered as man\u2019s greatest show on the earth, Shakespeare is undoubtedly the
\ngreatest showman in the world. Obviously William Shakespeare might not have been born
\ngreat but having achieved greatness in spite of not being highly educated in his lifetime, he
\ndefinitely died great. His intricacy of weaving of wisdom through words, has survived him as
\nour contemporary today. Almost 400 years after his death, he lives on great, through every
\nreading, every performance and every interpretation or adaptation of his works. <\/p>\n
Critical Analysis<\/p>\n
Our society is not sincere with each other. The unexpected behaviour or cross-dressing
\ncompulsorily lead to confusion and humorous encounters
\nwith other characters and Shakespeare deliberately does it in
\nhis comedies.
\nThus we can conclude that Shakespeare deliberately presents
\nhis female characters who do not follow the rules imposed
\nupon them and thus he turns the situation into a source of
\nhumour. But after letting his women have their own way, he
\nproclaims their traditional role in society by putting them
\nback in their place, by getting married at the end of the plays,
\nand by leading a happy life in submission to their husbands.
\nIt cannot be denied that during Shakespeare\u2019s times women
\nwere far from being equal to men and that this attitude is also
\nreflected in many of Shakespeare\u2019s work<\/p>\n
Conclusion<\/p>\n
we find a wide range of
\nvery strong female characters who do what they are supposed
\nto follow and do not play their role according to the rules
\nimposed upon them. In some case women disguise as male in
\norder to achieve their goals while other characters dare to
\nspeak their mind in spite of the fact that this type attitude is
\ncounted to be defective for the female characters.
\nShakespeare, thus, seems not to be afraid of facing his
\naudience with matchless female characters who manage to
\nmake the action of the comedies much stimulating, bustling,
\nand more stirring.
\nNevertheless, it would be wrong to claim that Shakespeare
\nwants to underline and reaffirm women’s equality to men as
\nsome feminists would have it. In Shakespeare’s comedies
\nheroines are represented stronger than the male characters
