\nStarting of with some key facts and ideas, I have written a small brief article on how Giligit Balitistan can make an improvement.<\/p>\n
In this technological advanced era where the world has emerged as a global village, only those countries can strive and survive in the competitive environment, which has a skilled trained youth force. Only acquiring simple qualifications are no more fruitful enough to contribute in the development of the country. Developed countries are striving to equip their youths with advance level of skills like Block chain, Artificial intelligence etc.
\nIt\u2019s a universal accepted fact that youths with out proper skills are just a burden on the society in terms of unemployment.<\/p>\n
Every year Gilgit Baltistan hits a large number of local as well as domestic fresh graduates of this region. Comparing the number of graduates with the availability of jobs in the market is unsatisfactory. In simple words demand is very less as compare to the production, causing higher rate ofunemployment in the region. Majority of people belonging to this region are poor and live their liveson hands to mouth basis. Despite of their hardship they always support their children to go to different local, domestic educational institutions to complete their qualifications with a hope that after completion their children will be supporting them to ease their life, but unfortunately their dream never come true as these graduates can\u2019t get nothing except just trying to find jobs to survive and support their family.
\nIn my own opinion only producing simple graduates won\u2019t work. This will only increase the ratio of unemployment and become burden on the society.
\nThe Institutions need to focus on producing skilled technical qualifications as well as entrepreneurs rather than simple qualifications.
\nThis is a responsibility for the \u201ceducational institutions\u201d to arrange Career Counseling Sessions on regularly basis for their students to help and guide them plan their future.
\nAnalytical, Research and Communication skills must be strengthen; as this will help the students later on to start a better professional life.
\nWhile interaction with graduate level students of different institutions of Gilgit Baltistan it has been observed that their communication skills are below the very average standard and absolutely not acceptable. Most of them do not even have a career plan or objective as their aim of completing this qualification was just to get a job to support their family.<\/p>\n
Gilgit Baltistan has a lot of unused sources that can be used in many ways but the fact is that there are no resources to provide and support this. We need to focus on how to utilize these unused sources! with minimum input to produce a maximum fruitful output. This can only be possible if Educational Institutions produce entrepreneurs at a graduate level and then once they graduate the Government can then help them to establish some sort of small\/medium enterprises (SME\u2019s) by providing small loans on low interest or no interest base.
\nThese entrepreneurs will be a source for employing many more people which will ultimately help reduce the on going unemployment ratio in Gilgit Baltistan.
\nAlso to mentioned, there is a lack of technical institutions in this region which is also a big question, \u201cthat why this region is neglected\u201d?
\nThe Government should focus on establishing well-equipped modern based Technical institutions at a professional level to produce skilled youths to help this region grow faster.<\/p>\n
I urge all educational institutions as well as concern departments to play role to produce well equipped modern era oriented graduates to help grow Gilgit Baltistan more faster and better.
\nI believe that a prosperous Gilgit Baltistan will be playing vital role in the development of homeland Pakistan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
