A New World: Importance of Schools

By: Maryam Iftikhar

A school is an educational institute for learning of students to learn what they are meant to, according to their level. Schools play a very important role in a person’s life. It does not only teach us studies but also focus on our socialization and behaviour. The main thing schools focus on isn’t our studies at all. It is to teach us what is out there in the world and how the system of the world works. Our teachers play a very important role in all this process. They are the ones except god that can change our future completely. They work hard to make us acheive our goals and in the mean time focus on their own to acheive his/her goals. They should be respected and praised like a king. Our friends are also jewels that teach us, in their own way, about the process of how the world works. They teach us about how to react to particular situations. They help us through all obstacles in the world out there. Friends come in handy even after you start proffesions. There are many things schools help us out with. And I found this out pretty soon. As it happened, I was studying at Shining Light Academy happily, with all my lovely friends and teachers when my mother suggested I am a big girl now and should go to public school for she wanted me to study at fedral board in future and it should make my mind ready for it. I agreed and got addmission there. On my first day there, I was astonished to see how big it was and how differnt it was from shining light. I was very puzzled. No friends, no teachers that I’m close with, no nothing. After a day or so, I made new friends and cope up with everybody else and the teachers. after that day I felt normal and relaxed. I found out quite soon that my school can affect everything in my life. I found out, that friends and teachers make a very special affect in our life that is very neccessary and handy for us to co-operate along with the world. “I think the teaching profession contributes more to the future of our society than any other single profession.” — John Wooden“Growing apart doesn’t change the fact that for a long time we grew side by side; our roots will always be tangled.” – Ally Condie
