ISLAMABAD: JUSTICE (R) SYED JAFAR SHAH (EX-PPP LEADER GB) FORMALLY JOINED PTI

Islamabad: Reknowned and Senior Politician, Ex Provisonal President of Pakistan Peoples Party Gilgit Baltistan, Justice (r) Syed Jafar Shah formally joined PTI today. According to details, Ex PPP Leader met with Chairman PTI Imran Khan at his residence Banni Gala Islamabad today and made announcement of joining PTI officialy.

Mean while he published follwing message on his official facebook timeline:

Pakistan Peoples Party was founded on an ideology, presented by Z A Bhutto. Unfortunately over the years, especially after the death of Mohtarma BB, the party has drifted away from the principles that it was founded upon. Rampant corruption seems to be the new mantra for most of its current leaders.
Even then over the past few years, some of us tried to bring a change in the party culture hoping that it could be returned to its roots. Alas that was not the case, as the party has moved really far from its mission.

Keeping that in mind, I held several meetings with PTI officials, and put forward my demands, foremost among them being the due constitutional status for GB and its deserved share in CPEC. The PTI leadership has agreed to these demands and has promised to fight for bringing GB to its deserved place in Pakistan. After the final meeting with IK today, and his reassurance to back our cause, I have formally joined PTI.

Hopefully, together we can assure a bright future for GB and Pakistan.
