Muhammad Ayub Waziri has won the by-elections in GBA-4, Nagar

GILGIT: (Mountain PAss) Islami Tehreek Pakistan’s Muhammad Ayub Waziri has won the by-elections in GBA-4, Nagar, according to the Form-47 (Provisional Consolidated Results) issued by the constituency’s returning officer.

Muhammad Ayub Waziri: 5422
Zulfiqar Ali (PTI): 5085
Javed Hussain (PPP): 4348

Counting of 303 postal ballots will be held tomorrow at 11am. Already, out of the votes polled today, Ayub is leading by 337 votes.

PPP has lost the seat it won last year, while PTI couldn’t win despite of being in the government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
