Handing Taking of Harcho to Turbling FMR* which was constructed by Dashkin Community

Astore (Irshad Malik) Handing Taking of Harcho to Turbling FMR* which was constructed by Dashkin Community under the supervision and financing of Economic Transformation and Initiative Department Gilgit-Baltistan (ETI-GB) was handed over to concerned community after its successful and highly paced commissioning
( 1 year completion duration) on 13th of January 2022.
The Handing taking ceremony of said project has been done in the presence of Administration (AC Head quarter), Coordinator to CM, Satellite Director Education, AEEs’ B&R, Media Persons and Notables of Dashkin Community. A Completion certificate is been given by Resident Engineer Astore, Mr. Shahid Ali on behalf of ETI Department to Scheme Management Team (SMT) President Mr. Shamsuddin as concerned community representative with hands of AC headquarter, Mr. Nizaam Uddin and Special Coordinator to CM, Mr. Samiullah Khan.
The scheme has been completed on 25th of December 2021 with Incurred cost of 21.6 Million, total length of 4.17 KM having 1200 beneficiaries, 1600 acres directly connecting land for Agriculture Value Chain purpose and category as Truck-able FMR. All participants including Administration and Works department deeply appreciate the quality and pace of work done by ETI in the said FMR. It is also to be noted that the said FMR may also be utilized as an alternative route whenever there is prolonged blockage with in the vicinity of AVR i.e., from RCC Bridge Harcho till Doyan Police Chowki.
The works department (B&R) also did commitment to take over the scheme for future sustainability and maintenance soon after joint verification visit and ensuring all other prerequisites and credentials.
