PASSU, HUNZA: BabaGhundi-Chipurson wins the title of the second season of Gilgit Baltistan GirlsFootball League (GBGFL) by 4-2. 

PASSU, HUNZA: :(Mountain Pass) Baba Ghundi-Chipurson wins the title of the second season of Gilgit Baltistan Girls Football League (GBGFL) by 4-2. 
 The game was ended 2-2heading into a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.  Minister Works Dr.Muhammad Iqbal announced the construction of the playground and link round in order to promote sports activities. He said sports activities were vital to empower girls.  Member Gilgit-Baltistan Council Arman Shah and Secretary Tourismwere also among the guests.    Over 8 teams and 100players participated in this unique event held at the picturesque PassuValley in Gojal, Upper-Hunza.   The participating teams included Chipurson-Baba Ghundi, Gircha Eagles, Shishkat United, Sost-NasirKhusraw, Shimshal-Alshams WFC, Khyber Ibex, Passu and Hunza-Himalayan CougarClub. The league aims to to promote women empowerment through sports activities.  The foundation of the league was laid by two Shimshali sisters Karishma and Sumera Inayat. Karishmahas represented Pakistan in the 2016 Jubilee games in Dubai. This year PeshawarZalmi and some other sponsors are supporting the league.
