WWF-Pakistan and ICIMOD conduct a TRAINING WORKSHOP ON MAINSTREAMING GENDER EQUALITY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE

GILGIT: (Mountain Pass) A two days training workshop on mainstreaming gender equality and social inclusion for transformative change under the HKPL project started in Gilgit today. Kolsoom Ilyas, Parliamentary Secretary for Health GB, Dilshad Bano Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism GB, Sosan Aziz member for National Commission on Women Status were the main guests in the opening session. Haider Raza Regional Head WWF-Pakistan, GB welcomed the guests and participants. Ismail, county representative of the ICIMOD addressed the session virtually and welcomed the audience. Kosar Bano, Gender Specialist from the ICIMOD is the main trainer for the two days workshop. Representatives of government departments and civil society organizations are attending the session as participants. The event is jointly organised by WWF-PAKISTAN and ICIMOD under the HKPL project.
